A
Healthy 10!
In addition to writing dense technical material for research
scientists, I also write zippy non-fiction for 14-year-olds,
as this gymnastic medical guide shows. The input for this 175-page
book came from medical reference materials given to me by the
doctor, plus interviews in which he told me the direction to
take and the specific topics to cover. He reviewed everything
I wrote and made almost no changes. (The third author listed
-- a trainer -- contributed exercises.) To read excerpts, click

Aspects of CO2 Flooding One good way to squeeze more
oil out of an old oilfield is to pump in carbon dioxide. Under
pressure, the CO2
actually dissolves the oil and moves it through the rock so
it can be recovered. I worked with five top scientists in this
field to produce this monograph for the Society of Petroleum
Engineers, which was published in 2002. |

Offshore
Platform Automation
A golden oldie today, but considered the last word at its publication.
I ghostwrote this 200-page book based on interviews and written
material furnished by Bailey Controls. |
