"Cementing
the Business"
This success story highlights Roanoke Cement and Shell:
"It
would be a phenomenal undertaking: to comply with EPA and
state emission standards, Roanoke Cement Company faced
a major overhaul — yet the company could not afford
to slack off production..." The technology experts
at Shell came up with the solution — of course!
I
have written hundreds of promotional success stories for
Exxon, Shell, Texaco and others over the years.

"Flipping
Out"
And I was up there with them, taking pictures for this story! It was the Sun
N Fun Fly-In in Lakeland, FL, and the the Shell Aerobatic Team was wowing the
socks off the spectators. I interviewed the team - and a lot of other pilots,
too, most of whom swear by Aeroshell. This is a fun story — and a collection
of terrific testimonials. To

"Perils
in Paradise"
This the human-interest cover story for Shell Panorama is one of many features
I've written over the years for Exxon, Shell, Texaco, Lubes-n-Greases magazine
and others. I take the photos too, including this cover shot. My goal is to write
stories that are fun to read and also promote a brand or sell a product. One
Exxon editor said my article on rolling oils single-handedly turned his magazine
into a profit center. |
